Cub Scouts hold scrap-metal drive

To the Editor:

The Cub Scouts Pack 79 would like to invite everyone to donate any scrap metal that they may have lying around.  The money will help fund a trip we have planned for Washington, D.C. in the spring.

We will be taking donations at the Berne Town Park on Sunday, Oct. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. If anyone has any donations that they can’t bring, we might be able to come pick them up.

Anyone from any area can bring metal to this scrap metal drive. These donations will help fund lifelong memories for these young Scouts!
