NEW SCOTLAND — Two days after the Stannard sisters were arrested for failure to provide sustenance to animals, and had 45 cats taken away, an orange tabby circled them as they sat at a picnic table at the town park on Swift Road.

Voorheesville Elementary School has, once more, been awarded national Blue Ribbon school status.

VOORHEESVILLE — On Tuesday, Oct. 14, community members can give the school board their input on what they would like to see from a new superintendent.

After six years at the helm of the district, Teresa Thayer Snyder will be retiring next July.
