A zoning review committee that  submitted its report last month put the town's new comprehensive plan to use in a major way for the first time.

WESTERLO — Joan McDermott, who worked as a clerk and hairdresser, valued her family and her privacy.

She died on Monday, May 18, 2015. She was 77.

KNOX — The Knox Youth Council is sponsoring “Community Day” on Monday, May 25, from noon to 2 p.m.  This will follow the Knox Memorial Day parade, which will end at the town hall on Route 156 in the village.
The event will be at the Knox town park, behind Town Hall.

Amid the back-and-forth of a neighbor dispute in Knox, Kevin Willsey feels especially fraught, citing a desire to be left alone. His neighbor, John Rodd, just wants the lawn clean.

The $22.3 million budget, three propositions, and a new board member were all given wide margins in a low turnout.
