Brian H. Perlee, a craftsman and devoted family man, died on June 19, 2014, with his wife by his side. He was 63.

He “completed his life in the very same way he lived it – at peace, at the side of his beloved wife, Donna, and with a quiet sense of dignity, strength, and courage,” wrote his family in a tribute.

GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Town Board and the Altamont Village Board of Trustees held a joint public hearing on Tuesday night to discuss annexing more than 50 acres of land from Guilderland to the village.

When Dennis Moore first came on the job the town had just purchased Tawasentha Park, and it was the only park Guilderland owned. The town now owns eight parks spread over nearly 600 acres.
