ALTAMONT — Village Justice James R. Greene and Village Trustee Nicholas Fahrenkopf were both elected on March 15, in a special election, to the posts they had held after being appointed to replace officials who had resigned.
GUILDERLAND — Jeffrey Mark Cascini, 40, of 1026 O’Brien Ave., Schenectady, was arrested on Mar. 11 by Guilderland Police for attempted burglary and felony DWI, driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol.

Guilderland varsity cheerleading took on 57 teams and 11 other schools in the co-ed division of the inaugural cheerleading state championship last week at the SRC Arena & Events Center in Syracuse.
