The Altamont Board of Trustees voted this week to solicit bids for the demolition of the Doctor Frederick Crounse House.

GUILDERLAND — Community Caregivers, a Guilderland based not-for-profit, will be hosting a volunteer appreciation event on Sept. 16 at the Altamont fairgrounds.

GUILDERLAND — Boy Scouts in Troop 50 will hold their annual bottle drive on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The area covered will be Route 20 and all side roads from the train overpass to Willow Street; all of Carman Road, Old State Road, Lydius Street; and all side roads off of them.

ALTAMONT — St. John’s Lutheran Church is reopening on Sunday, Sept. 13, with an outdoor Sunday School Rally Day at 9:45 a.m. followed by an outdoor church service at 11 a.m.

The church is located at 140 Maple Ave. in Altamont.

GUILDERLAND — Joe Marino and Susan DiCamillo of Guilderland announce the engagement of their son Jim DiCamillo to Kimberlee Schleyer.

The amendment to the agreement is for a period not to exceed three years, with quarterly reviews.
