Moonlight Walk at Thacher Park on Saturday, March 2, at 6:30 pm.  Join us for a walk by the light of the moon. If the skies are clear we can leave the flashlights behind. Guilderland High School is hosting its 10th Annual Dodgeball Tournament to benefit the Altamont Food Pantry at 5 p.m. in the West Gym. Tickets are $3 a person at the door.

Full Moon Owls and Hors d’oeuvres on Thursday, March 1 from 6 – 8 pm. Join us for a hike under the full moon while stopping periodically to listen for the calls of owls in the Pine Bush Preserve. Meet us at the Discovery Center where we will enjoy some light snacks and an indoor presentation then caravan over to another trailhead for our 1.2-mile hike. Snow Day! at Thacher Nature Center on Thursday, Feb. 22, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join us for some winter fun! Activities for school-aged children include an outdoor winter survival game and a scavenger hunt.
