Owl Pellet Investigation at Thacher Nature Center on Saturday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m. Come learn about some of nature’s most amazing birds of prey – owls! We’ll discuss the physical adaptations that help make owls exceptional hunters, as well as how and why owl pellets are formed. We’ll conclude with an owl pellet dissection. Terrific Turtles on Sunday, March 25 from 1 –  3 pm. Have you ever seen a turtle in the Pine Bush? They’re here! In this program, we will learn what kinds of turtles live in the Pine Bush, where they live, and how they survive. We will start our program indoors with a live turtle presentation and continue outside for a hike into turtle habitat. We will caravan to another trailhead where we will hike approximately one-half mile. Participants must provide their own transportation. All ages.
