The 57th Hilltowns Memorial Day Parade is both a celebration and a memorial event commemorating those who have been lost during service to our country. This year’s theme is “Never forget, ever honor” and participants will include: Berne-Knox-Westerlo marching band, floats, military and classic vehicles, horses, fire and emergency vehicles as well as marching groups. The parade begins at 10:00 am and proceeds through the village of Berne.

The Rensselaerville Historical Society opens for the season and will be holding its Annual Bake Sale on Sunday, May 27 from 12 - 3 pm.  We would appreciate any donations of baked goods for our fundraiser. This year, the Grist Mill tours and genealogy research will be open on Wednesdays from 11 - 2 pm and on Sundays from 1 - 3 pm until Labor Day weekend.
