Festival of the Presentation of the Augsburg Confession. St. John's Lutheran Church. It was on June 25, 1530, that a group of nobles and other leaders in Germany presented to Emperor Charles V their reasons for allowing the Protestant Reformation in their territories. The document has come to be known as the Augsburg Confession as it was presented to the emperor in that city. Pastor Greg Zajac will preach on the significance of the Augsburg Confession for today. The 9th year of the Voorheesville Farmer’s Market begins June 21 from 3:30 - 6:30 PM until October 4.  We are located in the upper parking lot of the First United Methodist Church Voorheesville at 68 Maple Ave.  There’s plenty of free parking in our lower parking lot accessed via Stonington Hill Road just past the church.  Handicapped parking is right next to the upper parking lot. Look for the sign. We have wonderful neighbors that offer their driveway for those who are handicapped. There are six new vendors as well as all your old favorites.
