The Thursday Musical Club will present a concert of international Christmas carols at 3 pm at the Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church, 942 Palmer Ave. Schenectady, 12309.The chorus is directed by Julie Panke and accompanied by Elinore Farnum. Guest artists are Alex Atchley, percussion, and Bryce Kelley and Matthew McCann, trumpets. Scholarship recipients from Niskayuna High School will also perform. Tickets are $15 and $12 for seniors and students.

2018 Open House and Greens Show "Winter Wonderland" - Guilderland Garden Club and Guilderland Historical Society are preparing for the annual festivities at the Mynderse-Frederick House at 451 Main Street, Route 146 West in Guilderland Center. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 30 from 4 - 8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, from 1 – 5 PM. The theme this year is “Winter Wonderland.”
