KNOX — Joan Adriance feels qualified to be town clerk both because of her professional background and because of her far-ranging community service.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in secondary education.

BERNE — As the two Democratic incumbents on the town board here are not seeking re-election, the town board race pits two Democrats — Frank Brady and Brian Bunzey — against two Republican nominees: Bonnie Conklin and Matthew Harris. All but Conklin are new to elected office.

Sheriff’s deputies charged three young adults with unlawfully dealing with a child, because, the sheriff’s office says, they teens alcohol.

“To be transparent,” Berne-Knox-Westerlo school board member Matthew Tedeschi said of value engineering, “there’s cuts made.”

Bill Dergosits stressed that the Promethean board is “a tool, not a toy.”
