Agreement allows for formation of county healthcare consortium

Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy announced on Friday that he and the Albany County Legislature had approved “an intermunicipal agreement to create the Albany County Healthcare Consortium.” But this is just the first step needed for six municipalities and three school districts that are considering being part of the consortium if, indeed, the costs turn out to be lower. No injuries at Eastmount Drive fire

BETHLEHEM — Residents escaped uninjured on Tuesday evening from a fire at 7 Eastmount Drive in Slingerlands.

Smoke was coming from the apartment complex off of Blessing Road when police arrived after receiving a report of a structure fire at 6:05 p.m., according to a release from Bethlehem Police.

Right-wing social media account mocks Voorheesville School Board member’s post, creating controversy

Berne hopes to negotiate EMS contract, but no progress yet
