Scouts hold open house on September 24

GUILDERLAND — Scout leaders from St. Madeleine Sophie Cub Pack 50 and Boy Scout Troop 50 will present an overview of their programs on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the St. Madeleine Sophie Parish Center, located at 3500 Carman Road.

Deer hunters can get rebates for non-lead ammo

The state is expanding its study on how non-lead ammunition for deer hunting can improve the survival of bald and golden eagles.

Hunters across New York are now eligible for a rebate up to $60 for the purchase of non-lead ammunition for use during the 2024-25 deer hunting seasons.

Bethlehem chamber celebrates five honorees
