Both the men’s clothing store and the Mediterranean restaurant will open on the south side of Stuyvesant Plaza, next to Felthousen’s Florist.

The Albany County Climate Resiliency Plan and Climate Action Plan for the Capital Region each establish guidelines for how to reduce emissions, with the county plan going a step further and focusing on protection from direct climate conditions like high heat and increased flooding.  

To help reach Governor Kathy Hochul’s goal of planting 25 million trees in New York by 2033, the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation announced its Buffer in a Bag program to provide free seedlings to be planted near bodies of water.

Guilderland has been allotted more money by the state than it has been able to use for pre-kindergarten because it does not have the means to run the program in-house and so relies on outside partners with limited spaces, usually in the neighborhood of 100 total.

Guilderland, in a letter to retirees last month, said it would be changing their insurance provider from Humana to UnitedHealth.
