Clearly the new Inflation Reduction Act addresses issues, beyond just acid rain, that transcend state lines. They are truly federal issues.

When Jan Van Etten’s daughter submitted her mother’s obituary last week, she told me, “It is the end of an era and she was truly one of a kind.”

Both of these things are true.

Each of us can take up the challenge thrown down by Scarletta Smith: Work together to break the cycle of oppression on women.

None of us are alone, regardless of where we choose to live. We, as humans, are part of a larger web of life.
