The Guilderland, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Voorheesville, and Bethlehem school districts have released the income criteria for students to qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. All four districts have the same standard, based on family size and income. 

On Saturday morning at the Voorheesville firehouse the American Legion Riders held their Seventh Annual Poker Run that helps raise money for veterans.

The American Legion Riders Seventh Annual Poker Run held last Saturday to raise funds for local, grassroots groups that support veterans.

VOORHEESVILLE — Voorheesville Dollars for Scholars will hold a Vendor & Craft Fair on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Voorheesville’s Clayton A. Bouton High School at 432 New Salem Rd.

— Justin Lee from Voorheesville, assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry, received a promotion to the rank of specialist; and

Ji Ung Lee, a professor of nanoscale engineering at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, has been awarded $6.25 million in federal funding from the Naval Research Laboratory to fabricate advanced electronic devices for more functionalities to future computer chips.

Guilderland Police officers stayed inside the Dunkin’ shop to due to unsafe conditions during the fundraising for the Special Olympics.
