Memorial Day parades in Voorheesville and the Hilltowns over the holiday weekend brought a spectacle enjoyed by large crowds lining the streets, with music, gun salutes, and rarely seen vehicles.

The annual run at Guilderland Elementary School, a tradition for more than two decades, got a hip new twist this year with a dance preceding it — all in the name of fitness.
