Pritchard and Weston elected to lead Girls’ State

BERNE — Almost a year after starting the Long Road reconstruction, the town plans to complete the project next week, and awaits funding that will pay for nearly all of the remaining costs.

GUILDERLAND — Guilderland High School was burglarized on June 24; several musical instruments were stolen along with some multi-media equipment, according to Michael Marcelle, the interim superintendent.

GUILDERLAND CENTER — A barn full of hay in rural southern Guilderland caught fire on Tuesday, causing flames so intense they blistered the siding of a house across Stone Road from the barn.
