On Thursday, Feb. 17, the Voorheesville girls basketball team started their Section 2, Class B sectional game at home as the 13th seed against 20th seeded Mekeel Christian Academy.

Sectional playoffs have begun and the Colonial Council Patriot Division champions, the Voorheesville Blackbirds, started the journey towards winning another sectional championship on Tuesday afternoon at home against Catskill.
