GUILDERLAND — Marie H. (Luft) Young, who put her family above all else in her life, died peacefully on Saturday, June 9, after a long illness at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. She was 97.

Disgraced Guilderland judge Richard Sherwood pleaded guilty on Monday to felony larceny charges for plundering family trusts that had been in his care as a private attorney.

On June 1st, Lynnwood and Altamont 5th Graders learn from Guilderland High School AP Chemistry students about the fun of Chemistry at Guilderland High School. 

Track athletes from Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo made a last try on Thursday and Friday to get to the state competition near Syracuse next weekend. Only two qualified: Noah Tindale and Isabella Bruno — both from Guilderland.
