ALTAMONT — Caroline E. Hildenbrand, whom her family said will be remembered for her heart of gold, died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 56.

She was born in Kingston, New York to the late Charles and Loraine Lasher. She was one of 10 children.

ALTAMONT — Paul A. Benson, who grew up in Altamont, was an engineer who worked on the Apollo Lunar Project and loved the adventure of travel. He died on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at his home on Camano Island, Washington. He was 85.

GUILDERLAND — Dorothy Pearl Bellick, a longtime Guilderland resident and one of the first feminists in the Capital District, is described by her husband as a “loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.”
