Chief Todd Pucci said the funds, a Byrne Grant, are through the state’s Department of Criminal Justice Services. 

Last weekend, Nov. 16 & 17, the Guilderland field hockey squad competed in their first-ever New York State final four held at Arlington High School in field hockey.

Last Wednesday, Nov. 13, eight Guilderland athletes, seven pictured, signed their college national letter of intent to play collegiate sports next year.

Edward M. Cupoli, Ph.D., a longtime resident of Guilderland, died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at the Teresian House Nursing Home in Albany surrounded by his family. He was 72.

The son of the late Anthony and Nina Cupoli, he was born in Syracuse, New York.

The Guilderland Zoning Board of Appeals on Nov. 6 approved the two projects.

Last weekend, Nov. 7-9, the Guilderland-Voorheesville girls’ swim team competed in the Section 2 Swimming championships at Shenendehowa High School to make an attempt to qualify for the state competition. Guilderville finished eighth overall with 122 points.
