The owner of the chain restaurant located across the street from Stuyvesant Plaza, filed suit against the town in March of last year for construction costs and revenue lost due to flooding in the area.

Last Thursday, April 2, the Guilderland boys’ lacrosse team kicked off their spring season with an early test against Shenendehowa at Shenendehowa High School. The early rain didn’t slow down the Dutch as they led from the start but held off Shen’s rally to score late to win 9 to 8.
Guilderland has now drafted a $134 million budget for next year, about $7 million more than this year’s spending plan, a 5.27-percent increase. The current proposal closes what remained of a $4.1 million gap by drawing about $2 million from the district’s fund balance and reserves.
On Tuesday, March 31, the Guilderland girls’ lacrosse team kicked off its season at home against Section 1’s Fox Lane. The Dutch had trouble against the tough defense and then Mother Nature ended the game in the third quarter as the Dutch fell, 14 to 4.
