The New Scotland Town Board is delaying a vote on the proposed creation of a hamlet zoning district after receiving mostly negative feedback from a familiar few.

After state park police constructed a firing range for training at the former Camp Cass facility, neighbors have said their animals are skittish, the noises are bothersome, and that they are worried about lead pollution.
