The Sarcoma Strong 5K Run/Walk to benefit sarcoma research will take place Saturday, Aug. 19, at 9 a.m. at the University of Albany.

A Farnsworth Middle School student is hosting a fun run to raise money for a Bethlehem family who is facing cancer.  The run is scheduled for June 2 starting at the Slingerlands firehouse.

The United States Department of Education advocates use of the “Run, hide, fight” protocol for schools to practice in case of being targeted by a shooter; our local schools are practicing lockdowns — hiding — only.
