GUILDERLAND — Alumni and alumnae will celebrate the 40th reunion of Guilderland’s Class of 1975 on Sept. 26.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event will be held at the Ciderhouse Restaurant inside the Orchard Creek Golf Club on Dunnsville Road just outside of Altamont.

VOORHEESVILLE — The First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville at 68 Maple Ave. will hold a Vacation Bible Camp called “Beach Party.”

The camp will run from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, meeting from 9 a.m. to noon each day.  Children ages 4 years old through fourth grade are eligible to attend.

Organizers of the Fourth Annual Summer Solstice Festival are expecting a record turnout on June 20, from noon to 4 p.m., on the Albany County Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail in Bethlehem and Voorheesville.

GUILDERLAND — In order to continue our strong programs — in 2014, we facilitated the spay and neuter of 755 cats and 154 dogs — we need the support of our community.

VOORHEESVILLE — The Voorheesville Farmers’ Market begins its seventh season on Wednesday, June 17, at the First United Methodist Church at 68 Maple Ave.
“This is a great weekly community event and we look forward to seeing you all again this season,” said organizer Dianne Luci.

ALTAMONT — During its 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 7, the Altamont Reformed Church congregation will celebrate Children's Day. The special service will be led primarily by the Sunday school students.

The Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley has a new workshop series, “Claiming Our Power, Sharing our Stories.”

Take a family walk and enjoy a nature story at the same time!  The Friends of the Town of Berne Library invite you to enjoy a beautiful children’s picture book while walking in the picturesque Knox Town Park.

“A neighbor in need would enjoy spending time with you,” states a release from the 20-year-old not-for-profit group.

NEW SCOTLAND — The Anti-Rent Rebellion in New York State will be portrayed in song and stories by local musicians in period costumes.

The program will be held at Old Songs Community Center, 37 South Main Street in Voorheesville on Tuesday, June 2, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
