Bethlehem Police have publicized the arrest of a 65-year-old man whom they say was masturbating in the waiting room of a doctor’s office in hopes it will lead others to recognize him and report similar incidents.

GUILDERLAND — A Guilderland man is accused of masturbating in view of a woman and her young daughter who were parked by a railroad crossing to watch the trains.

Travis Ostroff, 36, of 247 Route 146, was arrested Friday, March 24, for public lewdness, a misdemeanor, according to a release from the Guilderland Police.

In jail since his arrest, Frederick Basile, 23, has said that he has been threatened by other prisoners.
