GUILDERLAND — After long-time Supervisor Kenneth Runion announced last month that he would not be seeking re-election in the fall, notable town Democrats scrambled for the party’s nod.
School board candidates — one in Voorheesville and one in Guilderland — have decided not to run in the May 19 elections; both had submitted valid petitions by the April 20 deadline.
Reluctant to comment on whether she supported the $22.3 million budget put forward by the school board for next year, Lillian Sisson-Chrysler said she thinks the district is well funded.
