Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple has a vision of bringing support services closer to the rural Hilltowns, housing them in the former Clarksville Elementary School at the base of the Helderbergs. 

Kristin Gundersen, the owner of Alternative Veterinary Therapies, started her own practice in the spring of 2014. With an increase in demand for her practice, Gundersen’s business will be moving to a larger building in Clarksville this weekend.

Clarksville Community Church started a gofundme site to raise $20,000 to pay for a boiler to replace one original to the 50-year-old building.

CLARKSVILLE — The pictorial history of Clarksville will be presented by Town of New Scotland Historian Robert Parmenter on Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the Clarksville Community Church.

CLARKSVILLE — Chef Daniel Smith, owner of Jake Moon Restaurant & Café, announced this week that the eatery will celebrate its sixth year by adding alcoholic beverages to the menu.

Smith recently bought the building that houses the restaurant, at 2082 Delaware Turnpike.

The good old days and ways were on display in Clarksville Saturday.
