Christian Brothers Academy celebrates the start of the school year and honors the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 on Friday afternoon .

On Aug. 8, CM Fox Real Estate donated $2,500 to the Backpacks For Success program where each student got a $100 gift card along with a 15-percent-off coupon from Kohl’s to shop after the kids had a pizza party at the Guilderland YMCA.

A new club at Voorheesville Elementary School has joined the media landscape. Blackbirds on the Wing, a podcast club, recently posted its first episode titled, “The Nature of Fads.”
