Last Thursday, Oct. 30, the fourth-seeded Guilderland Dutchmen battled third-seeded Shenendehowa for the Section 2, Class AAA title at Bethlehem High School on a windy and rainy evening. The Dutch yielded the first goal but battled in the second half to tie it up at 1.

Last Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 29 and 30, the Bethlehem and Guilderland Unified Bocce squads battled in their last tournament at the Italian American Community Center. Bethlehem finished third in the Blue division and Guilderland won the Black division.

On Monday, Oct. 27, Guilderland and Bethlehem girls’ tennis players battled against some of the state's best singles and double squads over a three-day event at the Chase Center on the grounds of the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, the Guilderland field hockey squad, the three seed in the Section 2, Class A sectionals, started their defense of their Section 2 championship as they took on sixth-seeded Shaker.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, tennis players from Bethlehem, Guilderland, and Voorheesville took to the courts in the Section 2 individual sectionals for the first three rounds at Shenendehowa High School. The top three in singles and doubles will qualify for the state competition.
