To the Editor:

I will be retiring after 40 years of service as the town clerk to the town of Rensselaerville.

I have learned that the Republican candidates for the town of Rensselaerville have used my name in their campaign literature.

Although it is nice to be appreciated, it would have been nice if they asked me first before they used my name, and in no way should it suggest that I support or endorse any of these candidates.
