Runion deserves recognition for Mill Hollow meeting space

To the Editor:

Last week, I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Guilderland Senior Citizens meeting space located at the Mill Hollow Condominiums, formerly the Bavarian Chalet.  This new facility for the seniors is a fabulous enhancement for this worthwhile town-sponsored service.

Much credit and thanks should be directed to the owners of Mill Hollow as well as to the various town boards and individuals who supported this endeavor.

However, there is one individual who must be recognized for bringing this project to a successful conclusion.  Otherwise, it would have failed.  And that is Supervisor Ken Runion.

Over the last decade, there were many bumps in the road, which could have easily scuttled it at any time. It was Ken Runion’s tenacity and perseverance that resulted in this most successful conclusion.
