Meet the BKW candidates

To the Editor:

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo PTA is hosting a Meet the Candidates event for the BKW Board of Education on Wednesday, May 14.

Three people are running for two volunteer positions.

This is an opportunity for voters to hear what each candidate thinks about very important issues, like whether to raise (or not) school taxes, increase (or not) school opportunities, and to answer any specific questions you may have.

Board of Education elections probably have the most direct impact concerning the community's direct welfare.  Plan on coming and meeting your candidates for the school board.  The meeting will tentatively begin at 6 p.m. in the elementary library.  Questions?  Call 872-2245.
