How could the school board let coach Wright go?

To the Editor:

Talk about hitting the nail on the head: Mr. Chris Brown, thank you.

If you didn't see his letter, please look at the Jan. 30 Enterprise; it’s well worth the read.

I still don't understand, with all the support shown at two board meetings that I attended, how the board could still let Coach Wright go.

Wonder now if the rumor is true that a neighbor of a school board member complained that their son wasn't getting enough playing time?

Editor’s note: Roy Wilcox’s grandson, Garrett Pitcher, had played on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo basketball team under Coach Andrew Wright before Pitcher graduated last year.

Contacted for response, Joan Adriance, the BKW School Board president, declined comment.
