To the Editor:

Nicotine, is it a good thing? Some people say it is; some others disagree.

After considering all the reasons, I firmly believe that nicotine should not be allowed to be sold in stores.

Some people say it is their right to smoke, but it is endangering other people’s lives. The secondhand smoke other people breathe in is giving them problems like cancer and other issues like asthma or heart disease.

I believe that nicotine is forcing people to buy more and more of it. Also it is putting their lives and others’ lives at risk from the smoke.

People get addicted to nicotine and kill themselves with the chemicals.

For all these important reasons, I firmly believe that nicotine should not be allowed to be used and should be illegal.  Thank you for considering my thoughts.
