Reidy most qualified to support our town in the 109th

To the Editor:

In the Democratic Party primary for the 109th New York State Assembly, Dustin Reidy, who represents a large part of Guilderland in the Albany County Legislature, is the most qualified candidate to advance Assemblyperson Pat Fahy’s legacy of unwavering support for our town and its residents.

As legislators, Dustin and Pat have taken concrete steps to help our community, such as combating climate change, advancing the goal of preserving 30 percent of the town’s land and water by 2030, taking efforts to stem gun violence, advocating on behalf of local businesses and charities, and working to expand parks, open space, recreational opportunities, and sidewalks.

Please consider voting for Dustin in the primary on Tuesday, June 25, or by casting your vote at early voting places.

Editor’s note: Peter Barber, a Democrat, is Guilderland’s supervisor.
