To the Editor:

I’m writing to share with the community that the Westmere Fire Department will be hosting our Second Annual Flea Market on Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our firehouse at 1741 Western Ave.

All are invited to participate — either as vendors or visitors.

This event offers residents and vendors a chance to rent affordable vendor spaces to sell gently used items, handmade goods, antiques, and more. It’s a great way to declutter, find or sell some hidden gems, and connect with neighbors.

Proceeds from space rentals will directly support the Westmere Fire Department.

We encourage anyone interested in reserving a vendor space to visit our website, https://westmerefd.org/ where you can find prices and more information. Spaces are filling fast; if you have any interest, we suggest you sign up soon.

The community’s participation will help make this fundraiser a success and strengthen the vital work of the fire department.
