VILLAGE NOTES

— The excellent coasting on the Altamont hill during the last two weeks has attracted both young and old, and nearly every evening large numbers have been enjoying this sport. Preceding the mild weather of the last few days it was possible to coast from what is known as the first breaker, on the old hill, throughout the length of the village to the Bronson place. Altamont is fortunate in being so located that this sport can be enjoyed under such favorable circumstances.

Dancing was enjoyed until midnight, Zita’s orchestra of Albany furnishing the music.
