DELMAR — Beverly A. Phillips died on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 74.

She was born in Albany on Dec. 29, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of the town of Bethlehem.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward E. Phillips Sr.; her daughter-in-law, Linda Phillips; her children, Cathy (Jamie) Tubbs, Jim (Stacey) Phillips, and Lisa (Sean) Battle; her grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Reynolds, Casey Tubbs, Greg Phillips, Cassidy Phillips, Tyler Martin and Jackson Battle; and her great-granddaughter, Scarlett Reynolds.

She was like a sister to her many cousins and loved by her many nieces and nephews, her family wrote in a tribute.

Her son, Edward E. Phillips, died before her, as did her parents, Stephen and Alice Ames; her brother, Stephen Ames; and her sister, Carolyn Halsdorf.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Applebee Funeral Home at 403 Kenwood Ave. in Delmar.
