These are people we are proud to know, in no particular order:

— Zenie Gladieux for her long-term leadership and organizational abilities in Helderberg Kiwanis and Helderberg Hilltowns Association;

— Mike Willsey for his military and public service and raising an exceptional family;

— Amy Anderson for what she has accomplished with the Altamont Fair and fairgrounds;

— Peter Ten Eyck for his success and community service at Indian Ladder Farms;

— Anne Hein for her work on community gardens throughout the Hilltowns and her exceptional service with Kiwanis and Berne Library;

— Melissa Hale-Spencer, our fearless editor of The Altamont Enterprise, for championing our community and less privileged citizens;

— Helen Marie Lounsbury, BKW graduate, teacher, board member, and booster.  She keeps track of us and our lists up to date.
