The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Timeless Truths and Jewelry Swap” luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than Sept. 8 and you must let us know if you cancel. Please call Nancy  at 518-320-2649 for reservations. On the menu this month is a chicken parmesan with ziti, salad, and pie with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Suzanne Buckingham from Watertown will speak on this topic: “Treasure Chest of Timeless Truths — Victory Through Life’s Trials.”

As for our feature, an invitation for a rare opportunity to a jewelry swap:  Bring pieces of jewelry of your own and swap for pieces you could use to freshen up your wardrobe for free. You may be surprised at what you’ll find.

Peter Jorgenson will entertain us with song and guitar.
