Westerlo man charged with DWI

NEW SCOTLAND — Aaron M. Ross of Westerlo, 41, was charged on Friday, Feb. 5, with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to a release from State Police in New Scotland.

State Police responded to a call reporting an erratic driver traveling on Route 32 in Feura Bush on Friday afternoon, the release said, after which the driver, Ross, was located walking into a convenience store.

He was unable to complete a field sobriety test, the release said, and provided a breath sample of .25 percent blood alcohol content, more than three times over the legal limit.

He is due in New Scotland Town Court on Feb. 25 at 5 p.m.
