  • Altamont’s 2025-26 budget up 7.5%, taxes up 2.25%

    Altamont’s tax rate for 2025-26 is set to increase 2.25 percent, from about $2.20 per $1,000 of assessed value to $2.25 per $1,000. The corresponding tax levy will increase from $329,271 to $338,976.
