The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Jive Into 2020” luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Our special feature this month is Kim Jackson from Bella’s Blankets. She makes blankets to sell for charities for dogs and cats. Our special speaker is Mary Elsasser who will talk about the colors of our lives and how we do not always have to like them.

Our special music will be provided Carla Paige who will once again entertain us with her lovely voice.

Reservations are necessary no later than Jan. 10 and, once you’ve made a reservation, you must let us know if you can’t come. Please call Nancy at 518-869-0642 or Carol at 518-869-5253 to reserve

 On the menu this month is chicken Marsala with white rice with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $16 inclusive (cash only please).

Nursery care is free at the restaurant by reservation only for infants through kindergartners — bring a bag lunch for you child.

All are welcome; bring a friend or your significant other. They’ll be glad you did!
