Troopers seek Guilderland man for fraud

GUILDERLAND — The New York State Police are looking for a Guilderland man suspected of fraudulent banking activities throughout the Capital Region.

Investigators based in Latham are looking for Cameron Dobbs, 24, of Guilderland, for felony charges, including second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and third-degree grand larceny.

He’s sought for possessing fake checks from his previous employer and depositing them into multiple accounts through mobile deposits, according to a release from the state police. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Mike Altieri at 518-783-3211.
