To the Editor:

Thank you to everyone who helped make our September garage sale a great success! The donations were all very much appreciated.

Once again, the community supported us by turning out both weekends to purchase so many of our goodies. To everyone who is thinking of downsizing, or cleaning house, please remember we will once again be looking for donations in May, after our May dinner, for our June sale.

All of our unsold items are donated to other organizations needing what we have left. We continue to make use of as much as possible. Our goal is to recycle, and not throw in the trash.

We are having a barbecue on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 3:30 p.m. until sold out or 6:30 p.m. at the latest. It will be at 678 Route 9W, on the east side of  9W in Glenmont. You may know of this location as the Frueh property, and former gas station. S police officer will direct traffic.

You have a choice of a chicken or a rib Full dinner, for $12. The dinner includes coleslaw, baked potato, and a roll.  Please pre-order and Pay $12, for each dinner. Please make the checks payable to Bethlehem Grange 137. Please send your orders to me: Carol Carpenter, 21 Ramsey Pl., Albany, NY 12208.  Desserts will also be available.

Trunker Treat will be on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m., at our Grange Hall. Everyone is welcome to decorate your trunk, van, SUV, or truck bed, and hand out candy to our local children. There will also be games and treats inside the Grange Hall.

Bring you children and grandchildren, from the ages of 3 and up. This is a safe zone for trick-or-treating!

Our next meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. Hoping to see everyone there! Visitors are welcome.
