Hines charged with robbing bank

GUILDERLAND — Nearly four months after the Bank of America at 1450 Western Ave. was robbed, Ricky W. Hines, 40, of Gloversville, was charged with third-degree robbery.

On April 11 at about 9:21 a.m., Guilderland Police said at the time, a man demanded money from the teller, who complied; no weapon was used and no injuries were reported.

Hines was arrested on July 26 by Guilderland Police with the help of Albany Police. Hines was arraigned before Judge John Bailey in Guilderland Town Court and remanded to Albany County’s jail.
