Pollution can cause global warming, acid rain, and bad air
To the Editor:
Puff, puff puff.
“Hey, are you polluting?”
“Yeah, so?”
“So you just think it’s fine to pollute?”
“Yeah, what you gonna do about it?”
“Well, I’m gonna write a letter to the editor!”
Gasp.
There should be no pollution in this world because it can cause global warming. In the air, there’s carbon dioxide, which makes it warmer.
It will get warmer, and the snow will melt in places like Alaska and the Arctic, which are cold and then polar bears would have nowhere to live!
Another reason I think nobody should pollute is because it could cause acid rain! This rain could get in the ocean and get fish sick, and, if we eat the fish, we can get sick! If acid rain gets on plants, it will make them sick, and if another animal eats the plant, the animal would get sick.
Lastly, I think polluting is the worst because we, one day, would have less oxygen and more carbon dioxide to breathe. Nowadays, there aren’t as many trees, because people are cutting down so many to build homes. So, when we pollute, it releases carbon dioxide, and the trees take the carbon dioxide in, and give out good oxygen.
Since we have fewer trees left nowadays, we especially shouldn’t pollute because there won’t be enough oxygen to breathe.
Now you obviously see why I think polluting is terrible. So, if you’re polluting, stop! It ruins everything!
