New hotel would keep the town vital

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of the proposed hotel project at Crossgates Mall. I reside in Guilderland and work locally in the area.

I recognize the need for business expansion, and think that this will help keep our town vital in the long run.  We watch as other areas continue to grow and thrive and I think that Pyramid and Crossgates have continued to keep their retail hub fresh and new, and that this hotel will do the same for the Western Avenue area.

In the long run, the additional tax revenue will help our school districts, which is most important to our youth and future generations to come. I hope that we can all agree that this is an important project and that we should all be excited for the future of Guilderland and what is to come along with this modern hotel.
